福岡県出身。彩6歳、リサ4歳よりピアノデュオを始める。
第70回ARDミュンヘン国際音楽コンクールピアノデュオ部門において、日本人デュオとして初の第3位入賞・
併せて聴衆賞・特別賞を受賞。
第32回ピティナ・ピアノコンペティションジュニア2台の部優秀賞（第1位）及び洗足学園前田賞受賞。
第20回国際ピアノデュオコンクール（日本）第2位及びスタインウェイ賞受賞。
第7回国際ピアノデュオコンペティション（ポーランド）にて第1位及びパデレフスキ賞受賞。副賞として、
2019年3月ポーランド・グダニスクにてリサイタルを行う。
第21回シューベルト国際ピアノデュオコンクール（チェコ）にて第1位を受賞するなど、国内外のコンクールにおいて
入賞を重ねている。
2022年3月、日本センチュリー交響楽団定期演奏会において、久石譲作曲「Variation 57〜2台のピアノのための協奏曲〜」管弦楽版を作曲者自身による指揮のもと世界初演。同年9月にハワード・グリフィス指揮、ウィーン放送交響楽団と、10月にはジョナサン・ノット指揮、東京交響楽団とモーツァルト「2台のピアノのための協奏曲 K.365」を共演。2023年5月、九州交響楽団定期演奏会にてパスカル・ロフェ指揮のもとプーランク「2台のピアノのための協奏曲」を演奏。さらに日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団、バイエルン放送交響楽団ほか、数々のオーケストラや奏者と共演するなど、日本とドイツを拠点に積極的な演奏活動を行っている。
2019年NHK-FM「ありがとうFM50」生放送にて演奏。NHK「クラシック倶楽部」「ベストオブクラシック」、NHK Eテレ「囲碁フォーカス」、TNC「記者のチカラ」、フジテレビ「めざましテレビ」他、テレビや新聞などのメディアにも多数取り上げられる。
姉妹ともに東京藝術大学大学院音楽研究科修士課程ピアノ科で学び、ドイツ国立ロストック音楽・演劇大学ピアノデュオ科修士課程、および同大学の国家演奏家資格課程を最優秀の成績で修了。
2020年よりドイツ・Familie-Rahe財団奨学生。2021年度ブルーノ・フライ音楽賞を受賞。
2023年度福岡市文化賞を受賞。
ピアノデュオを田中美江、横山幸雄、加藤真一郎、伊藤恵、Olha Chipak＆Oleksiy Kushnir、Hans-Peter Stenzl＆Volker Stenzlの各氏に師事。
姉妹共に囲碁三段の免状を持つ。

The Japanese sisters Aya and Risa Sakamoto have been playing together as a piano duo since 1999.
Among their awards at major international competitions are the third prize and the audience prize at the 70th ARD International Music Competition in Munich.
Piano Duo Sakamoto won numerous prizes at important national and international competitions including the first prize with special prizes at the 32nd PTNA Competition in the Junior division (Tokyo, 2015), the second prize and Steinway award at the 20th International Piano Duo Competition (Tokyo, 2016), the first prize and three special prizes at the International Piano Duo Competition (Białystok, 2018), and the first prize at the International Franz Schubert Piano Duo Competition (Jeseník, 2019).
They have already given a lot of solo and duo recitals, chamber music concerts, and participating at diverse music festivals throughout Japan, Germany, Austria, Poland and the USA. They also appeared in professional orchestras.
Both of them studied the Master degree at the Tokyo University of the Arts under the class of professor Kei Itoh, and they received important inspiration through lessons from Shinichiro Kato, From 2019, they started their studying in piano duo with professors Hans-Peter and Volker Stenzl at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock and completed their Master's degree with top honors in 2022, during their studies they also received lessons from the piano duo Olha Chipak - Oleksiy Kushnir. Currently they’re continuing their studies in the Konzertexamen at the same university.
They receive a scholarship from the Familie-Rahe Foundation.

Seit 1999 musizieren die japanischen Schwestern Aya und Risa Sakamoto gemeinsam als Klavierduo.
Zu ihrem größten internationalen Erfolg gehört der 3. Preis und der Publikumpreis beim Internationalen Musikwettbewerb der ARD in München.
Sie gewannen zahlreiche Preise bei wichtigen nationalen und internationalen Wettbewerben: 1.Preis beim International Franz Schubert Klavierduo-Wettbewerb in Jeseník (2019), 1.Preis und drei Sonderpreise beim International Klavierduo-Wettbewerb in Białystok (2018),2.Preis und Steinway-Preis beim International Klavierduo-Wettbewerb in Tokio (2016), 1.Preis und Sonderpreis beim PTNA-Wettbewerb in Tokio (2015).
Bereits konzertierten sie in verschiedenen Ländern wie zum Beispiel in Japan, Deutschland, Österreich, Polen und der USA und nahmen an Musikfestivals teil.
Mit professionellen Orchestern traten sie als Solistinnen auf, wie Japan Philharmonie Orchester, Kyushu Symphonie Orchester, Tokio Symphonie Orchester, Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, um nur einige zu nennen.
Im März 2022 machte das Duo die Uraufführung des Konzerts für Klavierduo „Variation 57“ vom Komponist Joe Hisaishi erfolgreich mit Japan Century Orchester.
Gefördert werden sie mit Stipendien der Familie-Rahe-Stiftung. 2021 haben sie „Bruno-Frey-Preis“ der Landesakademie Ochsenhausen erhalten.
Wichtige Impulse erhalten sie von Shinichiro Kato, studierten an der Tokyo University of the Arts bei Prof. Kei Itoh. 2022 schlossen sie ihren Master im Fach Klavierduo an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock bei Proff. Hans-Peter und Volker Stenzl ab, und begannen ihre Konzertexamen. Auch im Rahmen des Studiums bekomen sie Unterrichte beim Klavierduo Olha Chipak - Oleksiy Kushnir.
坂本 彩 Aya Sakamoto
福岡県出身。4歳よりピアノを始める。
福岡女学院高等学校音楽科、桐朋学園大学音楽学部を経て、東京藝術大学大学院音楽研究科修士課程ピアノ科を修了。修了時に、大学院アカンサス賞、藝大クラヴィーア賞を受賞。
第63回全日本学生音楽コンクール高校の部北九州大会第1位、全国大会第2位。
第60回西日本国際音楽コンクールにおいて末永賞(グランプリ)。
第11回ルーマニア国際音楽コンクールピアノ部門最高位及びNPO法人おおきな木スペース賞、その他多数受賞。
2001年ポーランド室内クラクフ管弦楽団とピアノ協奏曲を共演。2005年九州サマー・
フェスティバル、2013年新進演奏家育成プロジェクトオーケストラ・シリーズにて九州交響楽団と共演。カードゥッチ弦楽四重奏団、ダンテ弦楽四重奏団をはじめ、室内楽、器楽、
声楽や合唱などのアンサンブルにおいても多数の共演を重ねている。
国内外のアカデミーにて、故F.W.Schnurr、P.Devoyon、D.Yoffeの各氏、他多くのマスタークラスを受講し研鑽を積んでいる。2013〜2015年ザルツブルク夏期国際音楽アカデミーに
参加、アカデミーコンサートに選抜され出演。
これまでに、ピアノを巣山千恵、田中美江、徳丸聡子、草冬香、横山幸雄、三上桂子、
本村久子、伊藤恵の各氏、室内楽を田崎悦子、藤井一興の各氏に師事。
坂本 リサ Risa Sakamoto
福岡県出身。3歳よりピアノを始める。
東京藝術大学音楽学部附属音楽高等学校を経て､ 東京藝術大学音楽学部卒業。
卒業時に同声会賞を受賞。現在、同大学院音楽研究科修士課程に在籍中。
全日本学生音楽コンクール北九州大会において、第61回小学校の部第1位、
第63回中学校の部第2位、第66回高校の部第1位。
第7回エレーナ・リヒテル国際ピアノコンクール第1位。
第61回西日本国際音楽コンクールにおいて西日本音楽協会賞受賞。
第6回せんがわピアノオーディション最優秀賞受賞。
せんがわ劇場にてリサイタルを開催。第22回コンセール・マロニエ21において第3位。
2017年、学内にてモーニングコンサート出演者に選出され、高関健指揮、
藝大フィルハーモニア管弦楽団と共演。ラ・フォル・ジュルネ・オ・ジャポンに出演。
国内外のアカデミーにて、D.ヨッフェ、P.ドゥヴァイヨン、K.ヘルヴィッヒの各氏、他多数のマスタークラスを受講。2012年〜2015年ザルツブルク夏期国際音楽アカデミーにて、アカデミーコンサートに出演。各地でのソリストとしての演奏の他､ 室内楽や歌曲伴奏の活動も積極的に行なっている。
これまでに、ピアノを巣山千恵、田中美江、徳丸聡子、草冬香、横山幸雄、伊藤恵の各氏、ピアノデュオを加藤真一郎氏、室内楽を津田裕也、三界秀美の各氏に師事。
